Burglary Appeal

Important Message – Please do not ignore

Police are investigating a burglary in your area that occurred on 11/09/2026 sometime between the hours of 23:30hrs a grey Ford Focus, entered the Great Ayton area. Two unidentified suspects exited the vehicle and were observed acting suspiciously by looking into residential gardens and checking parked vehicles. Same vehicle and suspects then park up outside of 12 CLIFFE TERRACE and force entry into the vehicle, yellow ford transit owned by the homeowner. Tools and equipment were stolen from the victim’s vehicle valuing £2500 and were put in the suspect’s car. Suspects then make off in their vehicle towards NEWTON ROAD GREAT AYTON and then towards the Esso garage. Two males are stated to be wearing Balaclavas.

Security Advice

Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.

Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
